Joint form and precautions of high-pressure rubber hose for high-pressure cleaning machine

At present, high-pressure cleaning machines have gradually been promoted and applied in various industrial fields in China, and are gradually expanding. The high-pressure hose in the high-pressure washer assembly is a necessary component to connect the nozzle and high-pressure water pump, and the high-pressure hose is a connection assembly between the pump and the jet unit. The following mainly introduces the joint forms and precautions of high-pressure rubber hoses.


1. The joint forms of high-pressure rubber hoses can be generally divided into internal thread forms and external thread forms


1) Internal thread form

This structural form is generally suitable for situations with low working pressure and high flow rate. This connection method allows for an appropriate increase in the diameter of high-pressure pipes, and its sealing mainly relies on sealing rings.


2) External thread form

This structural form is mainly used in high pressure situations, and this connection method is mostly used when the working pressure exceeds 1800bar. This connection method is achieved by compressing the locking nut with an external threaded connector, thereby tightly fitting the conical sealing surface of the pipe section with the sealing surface of the connected part, playing a sealing role. The connected parts can also be jet attachments, such as high-pressure spray guns, flat cleaning nozzles, three-dimensional rotating nozzles, etc., or other high-pressure rubber hoses. This connection method can effectively prevent loose connections under complex construction conditions.

2. Precautions for using conical sealing for high-pressure rubber hoses

1) This connection adopts a cone angle of 60 degrees, requiring the pipe end cone angle to be generally less than the hole cone angle by 1 degree;

2) The position of the pipe end must be sharp and not blunt;

3) The direction of thread rotation between the pipe end and the locking nut should be opposite to that of the external threaded connector;

4) When processing connecting parts, small holes should be reserved at the sealing area to prevent high-pressure water from leaking out when the conical surface is not tightly sealed. This can not only serve as a safety warning, but also facilitate observation and judgment, thus better protecting the sealing surface from damage
