Its work quality directly affects the control effect of the whole solid control system. During the drilling process, drilling fluid with a large amount of drilling cuttings is returned from the well. The role of the Shale Shaker is to separate the rock cuttings from the drilling fluid, so that cleaner drilling fluid can enter the next several stages of separation equipment.

1. Process characteristics of drilling fluid shale shaker
The technical level of vibrating screen is mainly reflected in the processing capacity (processing capacity and separation particle size), stability of work, length of service life and flexibility of operation. The processing capacity of the vibrating screen is related to its structure, motion track, vibration frequency, vibration intensity, screen area and screen size. Modern vibrating screen is generally high-speed, linear (or nonlinear), fine and multi-layer vibrating screen, which plays a vital role in solid control system.
2. Working principle of drilling fluid shale shaker
Traveling screen is mainly composed of screen box, screen vibration isolation spring and exciter, meter feeding drilling fluid tray, base and support. The working principle is that the rotation of the vibration exciter drives the screen box and screen mesh to move together, forming a reasonable movement track. The drilling fluid flows through the drilling fluid box to the screen screen of the screen box The solid phase is pushed out from the front of the screen box, and the liquid phase containing the solid phase smaller than the screen hole flows into the drilling fluid tank through the screen to complete the separation.
When selecting the shale shaker, first select the appropriate screen according to the size and particle size of the solid particles in the drilling fluid, and the size of the holes on the screen is represented by "mesh". The so-called mesh number of the screen refers to the number of holes opened per inch (inn) of side length of the screen. The larger the mesh, the smaller the hole. For example, there are 12 holes per inch for a square hole starting screen, which is called 12 mesh screen and is represented as 12x12 by API standard.
A very important parameter of vibrating screen is its processing capacity. In addition to the selection and determination of its own motion parameters, it is also affected by such factors as the type, density, viscosity, size and number of solid particles, and size of two holes of drilling fluid. Therefore, it should be comprehensively considered and reasonably selected in actual use.
